Coop yarn done! and a pair of shorties

Finally finished all the coop yarn- some of it needs to be wound still and some trims + one skein of sock yarn are missing from the photo (but it is all finally dyed).

I also finished the 'red mountain' shorties. I was worried that they were going to turn out too big but they fit perfectly! I was so excited I took a picture and put them on him before washing and blocking :)

Magic looping went pretty well- I really loved being done with both legs at the same time.

yarn for Ewe Need It fundraiser

Christina at Arabesque Baby asked me to collab with her for the ENI fundraiser on Hyena Cart. She did a beautiful diaper and t-shirt- see here and I dyed some matching yarn. I tweaked slightly my 'at the zoo' colorway and dyed it on gorgeous bulky BFL...someone may need to come pry this out of my hands!

busy busy busy

I have been busy dyeing yarn for the Yarn Etc coop order- lots of fun colorways waiting to be reskeined :)

right now just a big fluffy pile of yarn....



Also I just cast on with new yarn, "red mountain" from Sarah at easterbunz on the Tiny Lady Cooperative. It is so yummy- Cestari super fine merino.



I was lucky enough to snag a tester spot for the freckle longies pattern - it will be my first time magic loooping the legs- yikes!

Starting a blog...

not something I thought I would ever do!
