busy knitting...

well I have been busy knitting and dyeing.
some customs:

'femme fatale' for abby

some scrappy longies for abby

'rivendell' for Christina

"elliot" for heather

a new colorway-on merino/alpaca

'cloudy rainbow'

It has turned to winter here in Montana :(

I am especially sad as it is taking forever for the yarn to dry!

"at the zoo' longies

I have been working on these for awhile now and finally finished all the ruffles!

they are winging their way to the new owner as we speak. It was fun to finally knit with one of my own colorways :)

also on the family front tristan is walking...he is really into it and 'practices' all day long- no big spills YET.
he also rode a horse for the first time.

I have been busy dyeing...the biggest hit has been 'london'...now if suzanne could just find one more of these diapers we could have a smokin collab!

Also 'rustic rainbow' which will be part of a collab with becky's paper creations.

back from vacation and lots of customs- stocking too

We survived the long drive to Sunriver, Oregon ( 14+ hours PHEW) The boys were fabulous...really truely- and I was so surprised. But lots of snacks and videos saved the day :)

Sunriver was beautiful- we biked and swam. warm weather and no bugs. The house we stayed in was gorgeous- and my family really seemed to enjoy having a full week with the boys and seeing how they had grown. tristan did have an accident and a trip to the ER after he rode his little car off the porch and did a face plant into the asphalt. Blood everywhere and a very terrified mama! He has since recovered...we'll see if the tooth survives (fingers crossed).

After a week and a half with no knitting and no dyeing ( only reading the Twilight series lol) I finally got back into the swing of things with some customs and some yarn for our stocking tomorrow on Hyena Cart. All the 'choco rainbows' are customs (some on Plumknit cashmerino- yummy) and the 'elliot' and 'ella elephant' will go on sale.

Coop yarn done! and a pair of shorties

Finally finished all the coop yarn- some of it needs to be wound still and some trims + one skein of sock yarn are missing from the photo (but it is all finally dyed).
I also finished the 'red mountain' shorties. I was worried that they were going to turn out too big but they fit perfectly! I was so excited I took a picture and put them on him before washing and blocking :)
Magic looping went pretty well- I really loved being done with both legs at the same time.
